Ayatul Kursi (meaning: the Throne), ayah 255 from Surah Baqarah, is arguably the greatest verse of the Holy Quran. Whoever recites it with conviction immediately after each prescribed Prayer, there will be nothing standing between them and entering Paradise except death. It also serves as a protection from evil. 

The piece was inspired by a sincere wish to highlight the radiance of this significant part of the Holy Quran and to adorn and protect homes with its virtue and beauty.
